Do you think students should have business cards? Especially graduate students, law students or business students? Especially in this tough economy, most people find jobs through networking and not through the mainstream media. Thus meeting the right people at the right time and showing a good first impression is the best way to put yourself out there and find yourself a job.
But how memorable should one be? Especially in a conservative office environment like law or corporate business? Do you use plastic business cards just to stand out? Perfumed pink cards? How do we try and make a good memorable first impression?
I suggest be yourself. But that might be a problem too especially if you're not sure who you are. Any suggestions?
