My friends are all over the world now. Seriously.. A few are in Japan working, either teaching English or working for a Japanese company (of course right? what else?). One in India studying. One in Singapore. A few are in the US, though even in the US we're all split..
Its really heartbreaking. Going from seeing each other 24/7 in the dorms and classrooms to not being able to see each other at all.
I mean.. seriously.. why do we have to go through all of these? Why do all high school students, college graduates all have to go through these? Why do people need to go through separations anyways?
Luckily technology has made life a little easier for us to connect and still keep in touch with each other. And also to know what is going on in each others lives. There's also flowers and gift baskets for her birthdays if you have any special girlfriends you want to surprise.
I know there's always means and ways to still be close to the people special to you. But why does it have to be so hard....
