I feel like a US citizen

I am really getting used to living in the US now. Seriously. And for some reason, some very weird reason, I think the US is getting used to me living in her country. Or maybe they're just taking advantage of me, I don't know.

First, I have to buy insurance when I study here. I don't remember having an insurance when I was back in Malaysia. I don't even think my parents have senior life insurance. Or maybe they do. Hmm..

Second, I have to pay taxes, even though I'm neither a citizen or a resident of this country.

And the other day, I just received the US census in my mail!!! Why do they need my information for the census? I'm going to leave soon anyways.. why bother?

Now before you say that I should be lucky that US is treating me like a human being because god knows how many people in the world want to live in the US, I'm perfectly happy being a Malaysian citizen. Get that straight!

Aih.. US is weird. That's all I can say.
