Ok.. I'm gonna be free for the next 4-5 months or so. What am I gonna do? I can't sit around in front of the computer every single day blogging waiting for the days to pass by right?
What is a girl like me gonna do?
Work?
Perhaps. But where?
Going to the Curve now. One of the shopping complexes near my house and I'm gonna start asking for part time jobs. Do you think I should work for borders? Or some clothing shop?
Let me tell you the pros and cons.
If I work for Borders. I get 2 days off and I'll learn lots of stuff concerning the system and all that. How the shop works.. Bla bla and bla.
But the working attire is boring. Grey shirt with jeans.
But if I work in a clothing shop, say Gap for instance, I not only get to wear whatever I like, most probably I'll get big discounts on the clothes too. Staff price remember? Cool right? But the only drawback is that I wont learn much and I'll have to stand the whole day.
And they only have 1 day off. No more dating for me! =(
Or I can work in the office. Say data entry. Good office hours. Monday to Friday.
But its boring. And the chances of getting scolded by your colleagues is high.
Or there's also the event jobs that come and go. They pay high but they have very weird hours. And they come and go. What there isn't a lot this time of the year?
I don't wanna serve beer. No offense to people that those but its just me.
Ok people. Help!!! Give me some advice!

Well, i suggest you do what you feel comfortable most. I certainly will choose borders. Interesting place to work in. Don't think too much about the uniform. It's not even that important.
data entry never gets scolding la... where got such thing.
try starbucks, i worked there prior to flying to england to complete my degree and it was quite fun.
if you're not a person who is willing to work odd hours, never try events.
its basically upto u hun.
but if I were u I'd go for the one that gives me the most knowledge n experience for future as well.

JUST FIND THE JOB WITH THE HIGHEST PAY AFTER ALL ONLY A FEW MONTHS. DATEING ANY TIME CAN DO ALSO. HE! HE! JUST MINE 2 CENTS. GOOD LUCK !
