I love taking street lamps!
Don't they look all classy and elegant? It is timeless! Time just stops when you're looking at it. It like you have captured the essence of time in your picture.
I know I'm crapping but seriously.. don't you think it's nice?
Reminds me of the story in The Little Prince. The part where the Little Prince came to this planet where there was only this boy and a street lamp on the planet. His sole purpose was to on and off the lamp according to the location of the sun. And even though his mission was merely just to on and off the lamp, he did it happily and with great responsibility.
Gives you a whole new perspective in life right?

I've seen an interesting collection of pictures of roundabouts from all over the world in a book. Perhaps you could start compiling your own collection of street lights?
