Choosing the Right Network!!! How?

I'm seriously very lucky to have my family come with me to California. There are just so many things for me to do. To start a new life in a totally new place is really not an easy task! Seriously..

And pampered as I am. Never paid a single bill in my life.. How am I gonna survive this? I'm not bragging or anything but boohoo.. I'm spoiled! And I wont be spoiled for long now..

I don't even wanna think about it. Parting with Cody was already hard enough.. but having my family leave me in another 1 and a half week's time is even harder than I thought. Now I'm really gonna be alone.

Ah.. I have been looking forward for this opportunity for so long and now that's it here.. I'm so lost! Booohooo..

Ok... enuf of self-pitying. It'll get me no where. As I was saying. There are just so many things to do. Buy bed sheets, note books, furnitures.. this that. And I havent started on any of that yet. But one thing that I love is they have so many hypermarkets here for me to choose from! Goodness gracious me.. I can just go crazy here!

They have Target, Wallmart, Macy.. Just to name a few since I have only been here for like 2 days.. I havent been to Wallmart yet though. Couldn't find the place. Everything is just so great! You can find anything here. Except of course chilli which I'm totally craving for..

My precious cilli padi! Ahh...

Anyway.. ( I always don't write according to my post's title!) as I was saying, one of the main things was to get me a phone and of course a line so that Cody can start calling me soon! It cost like RM6 (USD 1.50) a minute to call back. So my family and I went around looking for suitable call plans.

Boy was it hard. I later found out that they are like 4 main networks over in US. At&t, Verizon, T Mobile and another one which I have forgotten. And each and everyone of them has their own different plan. Some requires you to pay when you receive and send messages. I mean I understand if you need to pay when you send a message but to receive it? Got such thing? What about those people that loves to send rubbish messages? Do I need to pay for it too? So silly I tell you.. And some even requires you to pay when you receive calls!!!

So what do you think? Any ideas on which network is better?

Hi Princess!
You have exciting time now. I understand you and hope your now life with new place will be happy and successful.
Wonderful, thoughtful post as usual.
When I came to my new country I ask this same about paying for call. I stay with Verizon.
Good luck!

hey just saw your comment.
Nah don't really bother bringing a tripod with me everywhere I go. But love taking both the towers.

Time for you to post up some pics.

Cheers

john,
Hello! Thanks for dropping by! I have never used the tripod before actually. But sometimes I think I would need it esp for night shots! I love our twin towers too!!! =)
