I'm going to make a generalized statement. Please do not take it too personally again as I know sometimes stereotypes can be not politically correct. But.. Americans do prefer to use tablecloths as compared to Malaysians.

Did you notice that? I never grew up having my mum use a tablecloth over our dining table. And most of my friends were the same too. But here.. I noticed that people here like to use tablecloth, especially those pretty premier for custom tablecloth for their dining table.

I mean.. isn't it a little more hard work when you have an extra thing to wash? It does look pretty though so I'm not sure. Haha..
