I know a lady that went to art school for undergrad and always wanted to be an artist. But because she couldn't find work being an artist, she ended being a teacher. Being a ceramics manufacturer might even be closer to her field but no, she ended up being a teacher.

She always felt really sad that she wasn't pursuing her dreams because what she was doing had nothing to do with art. But she persevered and did her best in her job. That was after she heard a guidance from President Ikeda telling her that if she does her best in her current job, she will have opportunity to pursue art in the future. So don't worry.  40 years later, she retired and now she has her own studio making all kinds of art. Its crazy. She works mainly with steel and metals but once in a while, she works with ceramics too.

Inspiring right?
