Diamonds are a girl's best friend.

Or so they say.

Is that really true? I don't really think so actually. I mean.. its nice to receive diamonds ONCE in a while, maybe for as an engagement ring or something. But to receive it every time there's a special occasion just means that the girl wants the guy to spend lots of money without putting much thought into it. Anybody can buy a jewelry for a stranger, like sideways cross necklace or something, but not anybody can buy the perfect present for a girlfriend/wife.

Which would you prefer? Handmade gift or an expensive generic gift?
