One of my friend is studying economic development. He is particularly interested in developing countries but he always ends up working for NGO's in the US or researching for developed countries. But I always find it an interesting topic, to work for economic development. You'll officially be able to use the knowledge that you have worked so hard to get to actually contribute to the people. Building schools, making people's lives better.
If it was up to me, I would build a playground wherever I go!
Wouldn't you? Maybe that's why I'm not in that position to make any policies.
