Thrift Store

I remember when I was young, I used to read books about how people will go to Salvation Army or thrift stores to buy vintage clothes and stuff and I always wanted to go to stores like that. I mean.. imagine finding a cool vintage dress for less than 10 dollars! How cool would that be? Or old books, discount furniture.. We never have that in Malaysia. Though I kinda wonder why! Is it because Malaysians never ever give away old stuff?

One's man garbage is another man's treasure! People will have garage sales all the time here and its really fun looking at the randomest thing people have! I'm working in my internship now and the office is right next to this thrift store and it just amazes me every time I walk in. The shirts there are like 3 dollars each! Though if you think of it, its kinda scary wearing someone's old stuff. What if the person is a criminal? Or a super disgusting person? Urgh..

So what's the deal with second hand stuff? Good or bad?
