Pretty gals in HCMC!

Yup! Princess Shin is in Vietnam again. I have to admit, its kinda fun living as an expatriate in a foreign country. Not only do I get to experience a totally different culture, but I can do it and then return to the comforts of my own home, instead of always returning to the hotel.

Though I kinda miss Malaysia too... Ah.. I'm such a confuse gal.

After staying at home a few days watching Alias, and Charmed... =.= I finally went out into the city to walk around. I know its terrible of me but I have been to Ho Chi Minh like a million times! Even though I'm still very much a tourist here.

Couldn't blame my mum for not taking her sweet daughter-who-is-back-from-states out because she herself has been living in HCMC for like over a year! No wonder she doesn't wanna be tourist again. Finally after lots of argument and getting angry at her, she finally brought me into the city.

I know I know.. I could always go out myself. But I was lazy. =) Its hard to maneuver around especially if you have no idea how to speak their language and they to yours.

We went shopping around the streets of HCMC and after a long day of walk, went into Sheraton Hotel to use their restroom!

And guess who we saw?



Miss Universe contestants!!! Who would have thought that the organizers of this pageant will hold this event in HCMC! This was definitely the first time for me seeing sooo many tall slim pretty girls at one setting.



Seriously gave me a little confidence shake. Princess Shin being this short and stumpy girl. Boohoo..



Ah well.. Just have to accept who I am right?



Miss El Salvador was cute though. As in she was kinda short! =P Maybe I have a chance too!



I even saw Miss Malaysia! Din really like her though. Sorry..

I never really liked Miss Universe though. Always prefer Miss World. Though I never know the difference. Hmm...

Does Miss Universe involve the aliens too?
